Job Description

The position is responsible for planning and executing eAxle validation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and develop comprehensive eAxle validation test programs for both platform and customer projects
  • Assess and analyze customer validation requirements, ensuring alignment with internal test plans and industry standards
  • Evaluate and define environmental test requirements for eAxle, considering factors such as temperature, humidity, vibration, and electromagnetic compatibility
  • Deduce eAxle load profiles from vehicle requirements, translating customer specifications into actionable testing parameters
  • Partition test plans into individual tests and test series, coordinating efficiently with the test field team
  • Conduct thorough evaluation of test samples and generate detailed technical reports
  • Lead discussions of validation results with system and design engineers, providing insights for product improvements
  • Introduce and implement new test procedures to enhance validation processes
  • Optimize existing test plans for cost-effectiveness in synergy with IDN (International Development Network)
  • Develop and maintain validation documentation, including test protocols, standard operating procedures, and validation master plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure eAxle designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to eAxle systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall validation process efficiency
  • Represent the validation team in project meetings and customer presentations as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile or Electrical-Electronics Engineering with >5 years of experience in electrification product validation

Key Skills:

  • Extensive work experience in the electrification domain with focus on electric powertrain and related components validation
  • In-depth knowledge of electric powertrain product engineering methodology
  • Comprehensive understanding of legislation requirements for electrification products
  • Proficient knowledge of electric powertrain product functional and environmental testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach and methodical work style
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work from office and travel to customer locations as required
  • Experience with eAxle systems and components
  • Familiarity with industry standards and testing protocols for electric vehicle powertrains
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools for test result interpretation
