Job Description
Your Role At Raising Cane’S:
The Senior Financial Analyst supports restaurants within their assigned division by building and interpreting financial data that guides operational and strategic decisions. The role requires strong technical skills in analysis, modeling, and reporting, as well as the ability to translate findings into clear communication, presentations, and insights that highlight business opportunities for leadership. This position is hands-on, with active involvement in both the data and the business to ensure insights drive impact.
Your Impact And Responsibilities:
- Identify financial and operational opportunities at the restaurant level to improve sales, traffic, and cost performance
- Deliver clear, timely financial reporting and commentary on business performance, trends, and forecasts to guide decision-making at both the restaurant and company levels
- Conduct detailed analyses on sales, traffic, costs, hours of operation, and new restaurant performance to highlight growth opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models and tools to analyze results, optimize profitability, and strengthen reporting capabilities
- Provide insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including Marketing, FP&A, Business Intelligence, IT, and Operations to support strategic initiatives
- Create and deliver financial presentations that clearly communicate findings and opportunities to leadership
- Support recurring reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) with accurate, actionable insights
- Lead ad-hoc analyses and system-wide reporting across departments to address emerging business needs

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in multi-unit retail or restaurant industries
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Proven ability to transform financial analysis into strategic insights that influence business outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial insights to leadership
- Proficient in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, planning software) with the technical ability to adapt quickly to new systems
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
