About The Role
We’re looking for a Material Control Coordinator to join our team at our Obetz, Ohio facility! In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and distributed to support smooth production operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and supporting continuous improvement efforts related to material flow and organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently and safely.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility
- Coordinate with Production and Distribution departments to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials
- Monitor, evaluate, and document all materials transferred between departments
- Maintain accurate production and distribution records in Maintenance Connection
- Partner with department managers to track material usage and maintain accountability
- Update and report on material status on a weekly basis to support operational visibility
- Prepare and submit reports related to material costs, procurement, and accounts payable to ensure compliance with company policies and financial requirements
- Accurately place received goods into designated storage locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with 6S standards
- Monitor and ensure achievement of daily and monthly KPIs
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and standard operating processes
- Promote and practice strong Health & Safety awareness at all times
- Order materials as needed to support inventory requirements
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external vendors and suppliers
- Perform cycle counts at scheduled intervals to ensure inventory accuracy
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with inventory management, materials control, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Maintenance Connection)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support operational decisions
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience with administering CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- General maintenance knowledge to support equipment and material handling processes
- Ability to stand 8-12 hours a day
