Databricks is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to drive some of our high complexity, high impact technical programs. This isn’t just another TPM role – it’s an opportunity to transform how Databricks runs and operates. This role will be part of the central Transformation and Program Management Office led by the AVP, Strategy and Execution.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Own program business and technical outcomes end to end, ensuring direct measurable business impact
- Lead large scale cross functional teams, who often have competing priorities, to deliver quality and impactful business or technical outcomes
- Measure quantifiable impact of the outcomes implemented and create well defined KPIs to ensure successful execution and sustainable improvement.
- Enables structure and clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, driving decisions and mitigating risks even on ambiguous asks with incomplete data.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the solution being built, identifying and removing upstream/downstream dependencies
- Ability to act as a force multiplier: mentoring other TPMs, introducing scalable processes, and driving organizational efficiency at the company level.
What We Look For:
- 8+ years of experience in driving strategic technical initiatives across many functions, influencing stakeholders VP+
- Experience program management frameworks and practices
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas (Infrastructure, Security, and/or Business domains)
- Experience in Fit Gap Analysis, leading design and technical trade off conversations to a closure
- Demonstrate an advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems
- Communicate complex ideas with authority, influencing stakeholders including Databricks executives and department leadership.
- Experience in the enterprise software industry, SaaS and B2B experience preferred.
- Comfortable and thrive in a rapidly scaling and dynamic startup environment
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Knowledge of Databricks product, a plus

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
