Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education.
Interested applicants must be willing and able to work onsite minimum 4 times per week in either our Melbourne, FL or Orlando, FL office.

The Job
The IT Apple/MAC System Administrator provides day-to-day hands-on support for Apple hardware and software, including JAMF Pro and other MDM solutions, within a Windows-integrated enterprise environment. This role is responsible for engineering, supporting, and deploying standard macOS and iOS devices, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless integration with Microsoft infrastructure. The administrator will collaborate with IT teams, provide Tier 2/3 support, and deliver training and documentation for end users and support staff. The position requires adaptability, excellent communication, and a commitment to CCM’s mission and values.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Apple Device Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Mac/Apple operating systems and software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control on Mac devices, including JAMF Pro MDM and assist as we move to Microsoft Intune device management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems.
- Implement security measures to protect Mac systems from malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and updates to ensure compatibility and stability.
- CCM Cell Phone Management
- Maintain inventory of business cell phones (Apple and Android).
- Interact with the cell phone carrier to assign device/number to staff.
- Monitor cell phone voice/data charges to align with expectations.
- Integration & Support
- Engineer and support Apple devices in a Windows network environment.
- Develop and maintain Apple servers and related equipment for iOS/macOS management.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Mac desktop and endpoint issues unresolved by Tier 1 support.
- Collaborate with Help Desk and Customer Service to deliver feature-rich, user-friendly devices.
- Office 365 & Enterprise Applications
- Administer Office 365 and support integration with Apple devices.
- Support common macOS applications (Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office 365, browsers).
- Deployment & Documentation
- Develop, test, and verify standard desktop images and configurations for supported hardware.
- Create, troubleshoot, and deploy packages and updates to Mac clients.
- Develop documentation and training materials for deployment technicians and end users.
- Security & Compliance
- Identify potential security risks and implement appropriate countermeasures.
- Ensure compliance with software inventory, license management, and remote encryption standards.
- Customer Advocacy & Training
- Act as a customer advocate to ensure high performance and ease of use.
- Provide training for first-level support personnel and end users.
- Communicate with vendors for support incidents and future purchasing options.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in software packaging quality assurance for all supported applications.
- Evaluate tools for efficient deployment and management of Apple devices.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Provide change management communication regarding system changes, outages, and problems.
- Other Duties
- Participate in weekly and weekend after-hours on-call rotation as needed
- Provide technical support for conference systems and equipment
- Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry’s Christian beliefs

Essential Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with those in different disciplines
- Highly self-motivated and hard working with demonstrable thoroughness and attention to detail in carrying out day-to-day responsibilities
- Experience working with Infrastructure and Software development methodologies in a business environment (e.g. ITIL.)
- Training in PCI / PHI / HIPAA confidentiality and governance

Education And/Or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field OR equal or greater time of related work experience required
- 3+ years’ service desk/help desk experience; preferably in an Apple/MAC environment
