- Participate in identity federation initiatives to ensure secure, seamless access across diverse platforms and domains.
- Collaborate on Ansible automation efforts to improve repeatability, reduce manual effort, and enhance consistency.
- Support compliance-driven activities such as system hardening, audit response, logging configuration, and vulnerability remediation.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and infrastructure planning to improve scalability, reliability, and security.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and policies.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to operational incidents with a sense of urgency and accountability.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, and VMware vSphere environments.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, or similar.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with system hardening standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, STIGs) and compliance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, system monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience supporting mixed Windows and Linux environments
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and change control in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi, vCenter, VSAN, and Red Hat systems
- Experience supporting patch compliance using WSUS or Satellite
- Ability to support and troubleshoot identity integrations and user access issues
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems.
- This position requires an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or higher
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- VMware VCP certification
- Experience in government, defense, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with cloud integrations (AWS, Azure) in a hybrid model
Work Environment:
