Overview
As Hornet People & Culture Manager reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be the strategic and operational backbone of our People function. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive team members’ engagement, performance, and personal growth across geographies. You’ll be both a coach and a builder—ready to roll up your sleeves and shape the future of work at Hornet.
Your Role
- Partner with distributed leadership to align people strategy with business goals
- Support global talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Develop and implement scalable HR policies and processes for a remote-first environment
- Advise managers on performance management and team development
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all teams
- Drive team members’ engagement through surveys, feedback loops, and culture-building initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and international standards
- Support organizational design and change management as we scale
- What we are looking for

- What we are looking for
- 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in tech and/or fast-paced environments
- Experience of recruiting, compensation, human resource development, and fostering a performance culture is a must
- You should have experience in HR from companies with operations in multiple countries across the world
- You’ll need to be an inspiring coach who can energize people and foster team belonging in a remote work environment
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, with a strong action-bias
- Bonus point if you have an appreciation of making an impact on the global LGBTQ+ community
