We need an English-fluent Software Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
• Modernizing and migrating legacy .NET apps to .NET Core/.NET 8 and containers.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and related integrations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and business units.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer. 
• Strong expertise in .NET technologies (both legacy and modern), with hands-on experience migrating to .NET Core/.NET 8. 
• Proficiency in React, AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience containerizing applications and deploying to cloud environments.
• Solid knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). 
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and working with third-party platforms.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Financial Services industry experience is a big plus.
• Passionate, efficient, and results-driven mindset

Compensation:

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $4,000 - $6,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
• This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
• The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
