About The Role:
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our vendors (GPU/CPU, Thermal & Cooling system, Network). This role requires a deep understanding of compute manufacturing processes and quality management systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of driving continuous improvement with our key vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics, including defect rates and delivery timelines.
- Manage and resolve supplier quality issues, including non-conformances and deviations.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure components meet design specifications.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and reduce costs
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues early in the development and manufacturing lifecycle.
- Directly participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust QMS aligned with industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the data center industry and compute manufacturing operations.
- Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Possess a keen understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and quality assurance methodologies.
- Are familiar with ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively and work well in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in vendor management and supply chain quality control.
- Experience with additional scripting languages or automation tools.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QMS software and ERP systems (Netsuite preferred).
- Travel 25-50%
Nice To Have
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar.
- Experience in the High Performance Compute sector.
- Experience with lean principles.
The base salary range for this role is $xxx to $xxx. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
