About The Role

We’re looking for a data-driven and creative User Acquisition Manager to drive Fora’s paid media strategy, owning execution across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging channels. You’ll be both a strategist and operator—designing campaigns, testing creative, and analyzing performance to ensure our campaigns are optimized, scalable, and aligned with company growth goals.

This role is for someone who thrives in a high-growth, data-driven environment—someone equally comfortable managing campaigns in Ads Manager as they are presenting insights to management. You’ll report into the Head of Acquisition, and collaborate closely with the Data, Growth Product, Brand & Content, and Sales teams to ensure Fora’s acquisition engine is performing at its highest potential.

Key Responsibilities

Immediate Responsibilities:

  • Own paid media execution: Manage acquisition campaigns end-to-end in partnership with our agency across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging channels—from planning through launch, optimization, and scaling.
  • Optimize channel performance: Monitor performance across all channels against volume and CAC goals, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns by refining budgets, audiences, and creatives to maximize efficiency.
  • Manage creative testing roadmap and execution: Partner with our internal team and external freelancers/creators to launch and evaluate high-performing ads. Translate test results into actionable insights that shape future production cycles.
  • Analyze and report on acquisition KPIs: Build and maintain dashboards to track acquisition KPIs, diagnose issues, and surface opportunities. Partner closely with the Data team to determine appropriate costs and KPIs across marketing channels and regions.
  • Share cross-functional insights: Translate performance data into clear recommendations for stakeholders across marketing, sales, onboarding, and advisor success, ensuring alignment and shared learnings.

Future Responsibilities:

  • Pilot and evaluate new channels: Design structured tests across new marketing channels (podcasts, CTV, etc.), define success criteria and work cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation. Analyze results and document learnings to inform broader growth strategy.
  • Support landing page and CRO experimentation: Develop hypotheses, run A/B tests, and synthesize findings to drive performance gains across paid channels.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on performance marketing experience in DTC, subscription, or high-growth startup/agency environments; proven track record managing $1M+ monthly ad spend.
  • Deep experience with Meta and Google Search. Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube, Affiliates, and other paid channels is a plus.
  • Proven ability to brief, test, and evaluate creative assets for paid channels. A strong understanding of what drives conversions across formats and audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel/Sheets skills; comfort working with BI tools and in-platform reporting. Strong track record of using data to drive decisions that improve performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present insights and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a focus on shared goals, clear communication, and openness to feedback. Thrives in team environments while operating with independence and ownership.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills—adept at managing multiple priorities and balancing short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Self-motivated with a bias toward action; comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Strategic curiosity and business acumen—the ability to look externally to find examples, ideas, and benchmarks that may be relevant to our evolving growth roadmap.

Compensation

Compensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $100K–$140K + equity.  Final compensation will depend on the level at which the candidate is hired, as we are considering multiple levels for this role.

Other Benefits Include:

  • Unlimited vacation
  • Health Insurance (including an option completely covered by Fora HQ)
  • Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Wellhub Memberships
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Supplemental Life Insurance
  • Stock Options

This role is based in our beautiful New York City office (Tribeca/Fidi) with lots of natural light and great views.
