We are currently looking for a Senior Vehicle Analyst, Canadian Subsidiary Accounting to join our team in Aguascalientes. As a Senior Vehicle Analyst, Canadian Subsidiary Accounting you’ll be responsible for the proper accounting of all activity related to Nissan Canada Inc (NCI) vehicles accounting from receipt to wholesale, including valuation, wholesale transactions, freight, and company vehicles. Serves as subject matter expert for functional area and represents group on projects and initiatives. Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, ad hoc reports and complex analyses. Supports J-SOX compliance and external audit for functional area and may direct and review the work of others.
A Day In The Life:
- Preparation of complex journal entries and the management of month-end closing duties.
- Analyzes complex general ledger accounts, prepares reconciliations, research open items and account discrepancies; coordinates resolution of difficult issues with management and other department representatives.
- Prepares periodic audit / ad-hoc reports and may consolidate accounts of several areas for presentation to management.
- Participates in the scoping, planning, design, testing, modification and installation of accounting systems and related software programs.
- Provides guidance and training to new employees and regularly reviews processes for improvements, makes recommendations and can implement solutions.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis for all balance sheet accounts assigned.
- Assist internal and external auditors on analytical reviews, projects, and quarterly and annual audit engagements.

Who We’Re Looking For:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a professional accounting / finance role.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Fluent English
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and working knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong knowledge of SAP and working knowledge of mainframe systems
- Proficient in accounts payable processes and Finance and purchasing policies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully work with diverse groups and prioritize workload
- Microsoft Office applications advanced knowlegde, particularly Excel, Access, and a solid working knowledge of SAP.

- A CPA and/or an MBA a plus
