About The Job
We’re looking for an experienced HR leader to step into a high-impact maternity cover role, leading a team across payroll operations, employee relations, and talent for the UK, Ireland, and Nordic markets. Reporting to the VP HR Europe, you’ll lead and develop a cross-functional HR team, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance, simplify processes, and support workforce planning across multiple countries. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape strategic HR delivery, ensure legal and operational compliance, and champion a consistent, high-quality employee experience across diverse regional frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of HR strategies and programmes to enhance organisational performance and deliver efficient, high-quality services aligned with the HR delivery model.
- Act as a strategic leader and role model, managing and coaching the HR team to deliver aligned, high-impact people solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on TUPE transfers, restructurings, and organisational change initiatives, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company values.
- Advise on complex employee relations cases, negotiations, and cross-regional HR projects, contributing to broader HR strategy.
- Coach managers on HR policies and practices, including performance, diversity, compensation, and development.
- Build commercial and cultural insight across UK, Ireland, and Nordic markets, navigating diverse employment frameworks.
- Support workforce planning with the VP HR Europe, offering strategic input to HRBPs, COEs, and business leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery, simplifying and harmonising processes across regions.
- Own the annual Labour Plan (headcount and remuneration) and partner with Finance on monthly tracking and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and external requirements, including accurate reporting and liaison with local authorities.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation processes across multiple markets, ensuring operational accuracy and governance.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR/Employee Relations in a management role, ideally across multiple countries.
- Proven knowledge of TUPE legislation and hands-on experience managing transfer processes.
- Up-to-date understanding of employment law across the UK, Ireland. Nordic markets is advantageous.
