The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent Manager to join our 777-9 Development Supply Chain team in Everett, WA.
Sr Manager joining the 777-9 Program Integration team. This position will support 777-9 development effort leading an integration team responsible for ensuring alignment and execution of supplier and engineering efforts required to introduce the 777-9 into our production fleet.
Our team is looking for experienced Senior (Level M) Procurement Agent Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages Procurement Agent employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
- Leader responsible for all ensuring all supplier qualification/certification work supports the airplane program certification timelines.
- Partner with Supply Chain Categories and program integration teams to support ATC, EIS, CIR, and early rate ramp activities.
- Lead team managing development late changes across all Supply Chain Categories to expedite flows and not impact critical path of certification program.
- Identify and collaborate across value stream stakeholders to solve complex problems ranging across technical, legal, production and supply chain issues.
- Inspire team to be problem solving leaders and scale best practices across the entire supply chain supporting 777-9 certification.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement-related role (e.g. finance, compliance, contracts)
- 10+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- 15+ years of experience in managing or supporting large projects, working with many stakeholders, including stakeholders in different cultures
- 15+ years of experience managing complex, large-scale logistics or supply chain management services for a global organization
- 5+ years of experience interfacing with and supporting senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry
- Domestic and international travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
- 5+ years of experience working in a highly regulated environment
- 5+ years of experience strong communicator at all levels
- 5+ years of experience demonstrated experience taking initiative, leading cross functional teams, working across organizational boundaries, and ensuring an inclusive environment
