LabCorp is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Calabasas Hills, CA.  In this role, you will perform maintenance throughout the laboratory which includes electrical installations, HVAC, general carpentry, and plumbing.  

**Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional days and hours may be required depending on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on various facilities systems including, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Perform maintenance and repair on furniture systems, small equipment, lighting, plumbing fixtures, minor painting, furniture moves, clean-ups, and thermal comfort calls
  • Support the lab in repairing and testing general lab equipment when necessary, performing scheduled maintenance, equipment setups, and troubleshooting
  • Communicate effectively with the lab team to discuss the status of their maintenance needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred
  • Previous experience in building and facilities maintenance is desired
  • Strong working knowledge of various hand and powers tools
  • Prior experience with a Building Automation System is a plus
  • Ability to read and use operation and service manuals
  • Strong communication, prioritization and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to multi task
  • Availability to work on-call as needed, including after hours and on weekends
