What You Will Do

• Perform aerothermal services ensuring on-time delivery and technical quality required of work performed.
• Perform low to medium complexity steady state and transient performance comparison packages which can include data vs. simulation, model to model, control to control, and engine to engine.
• Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or trainings required.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Qualifications You Must Have

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Aerothermal Fluids Engineering: Designs, develops, and tests power plants, aircraft, and parts, formulates conceptual design of certain products, and develops advanced models. Performs system level analysis and prepares technical reports.

Pratt & Whitney Aguadilla is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
