What You Will Do

  • Assist the Integrated Product Team (IPT) in tasks related to either development or production of military engine parts.
  • Support IPT leadership in preparing for technical and program reviews by helping track and manage risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to monitor project budgets, schedules, and technical metrics.
  • Assist in part-level tasks such as communication, risk tracking, and execution of program requirements alongside IPT and CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team).
  • Provide support for design, manufacturing, validation, and sustainment activities for engine programs, including Class I Engineering Changes, Engineering investigations and Failure Malfunction Reports (FMRs).
  • Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and production-related tasks, including vendor and manufacturing support.
  • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Industrial Engineering.
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles Engineering is responsible for the design, development and in service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. Technical disciplines include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, System Modeling, Mechanical Design analysis for bearings gears and seals, and fluid-thermal modeling of associated components and systems.
