What You Will Do:

The Generator Mechanic Technician participates in generator improvement and repair for RSADF systems function and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel that is covered under the currently approved TAA. Typical duties include repair & overhaul Patriot System Diesel engines, performing maintenance and maintainability demonstrations, and performing troubleshooting, fault isolation and field maintenance repair for all diesel generators and air conditioners for all RSADF systems. Will perform a wide variety of technical tasks in support of Deep Maintenance (DM) processes, associated engineering, quality controls, calibration, production/test environment, and field related operations. Performs troubleshooting, fault isolation and field maintenance repair for all diesel generators or air conditioners for RSADF systems covered under the currently approved TAA. Generator Mechanic Tech will participate in on-the-job (OJT) programs and assist the section officer in enforcing approved RSADF safety policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other job-related duties as specified by the user unit. This position is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with minimal travel requirements. Generous financial package that includes a 45% increase of base salary. Qualifications You Must Have:

Able to perform maintenance and maintainability demonstrations

Performs in-process inspections of maintenance activities to ensure repairs are       accomplished in accordance with applicable quality standards and procedures

Able to perform functional tests on generators after making repairs to assure compliance with design specifications and standards

Ability to prepare and maintain records pertaining to equipment failures, and tests generators under various states of tolerance for various performance states to guarantee meeting all specs

Able to perform functional tests on generators after making repairs to assure compliance with design specifications and standards

Must be able to perform in-process inspections of maintenance activities to ensure repairs are accomplished in accordance with applicable quality standards and procedures

Must be skilled in the use of engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, general purpose commercial test equipment and common tools is required

Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. 

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Must be able to obtain a Saudi Arabia work Visa

Qualifications We Prefer:

Graduate of applicable Lechmotoren power generation equipment repair course

Graduate of diesel-powered power generation equipment repair course

Knowledge of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration process

Knowledge of Patriot peculiar Technical Manuals and associated drawings, schematics, and publications

Required Education:

Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant work experience, or an High School diploma with 4 years of relevant work experience in troubleshooting and repair of Patriot diesel generators    

Graduate of a technical school or manufacturer's course of instruction on diesel power generation equipment, or equivalent on-the-job training (OJT)

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
