AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

(FR) Le candidat retenu ou la candidate retenue œuvrera en étroite collaboration avec les co-directrices du Centre de droit public de l’Université d’Ottawa afin d’appuyer le travail accompli par le Centre. Les tâches comprendront la recherche ; le développement du site Web; la rédaction et la diffusion de bulletins d'information et la gestion des comptes de médias sociaux; la planification et l’organisation d’événements; les communications avec le comité consultatif, les boursiers postdoctorants, les chercheurs invités et les membres du Centre; la préparation de demandes de subventions et autres tâches. Le candidat retenu ou la candidate retenue doit être diplomé(e) en droit; être compétent dans l’utilisation de Canva; et avoir une expérience préalable en planification d’événements. Prière d’accompagner votre soumission en ligne avec une lettre de présentation, d’un CV, de relevés de notes de la faculté de droit (les relevés de notes non officiels sont acceptables) et les noms de deux professeures à titre de références en indiquant leurs coordonnées. (EN) The successful candidate will work closely with the Co-Directors of the uOttawa Public Law Centre to support the work of the Centre. Work will include website development; drafting and disseminating newsletters and managing social media accounts; event planning and organization; communicating with the Centre's Advisory Board, Fellows, Visiting Researchers, and members; grant writing; and other tasks. The successful candidate must hold a law degree; must be skilled in the use of Canva; and must have prior event planning experience. In addition to the online application, please submit a cover letter, CV, law school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are fine) and names of two academic referees with contact information.
