Software Engineering Lead Analyst- HIH - Evernorth

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) Communication Platform team. The Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the development of reports and data feeds using SAS based platform and migration of reports to a cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in creating & managing complex data queries and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of  Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Oracle (SQL), MongoDB, Openshift.
• Develop and manage services supporting the platform.
• Perform triage and root cause analysis of system issues.
• Perform performance testing and analysis.
• Work with business partners and product owner to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
• Understand the requirements and use cases provided.
• Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
• Partner with other teams and stake holders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
• Ability to provide alternative solutions.
• Experienced with agile methodology.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Healthcare domain experience.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Apache Kafka, Oracle (SQL), MongoDB, Openshift
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like GitHub, Jenkins etc.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
• 6+ years of experience in developer role.
• 6+ years of relational database management systems like Oracle, SQL server and Teradata

Desired Experience:

• AWS, Azure, or GCP certification desirable
• Experience with automated multi-channel customer communications
