The Opportunity

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving EML’s growth and operational efficiency through technology innovation. You’ll design, build, and optimise automation solutions that simplify complex processes, enhance productivity, and support business transformation.
Working as part of a high-performing, customer-focused team, you’ll strategically advance EML’s automation capability and continuously improve how technology supports the way we work.
This will be a permanent, full time position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain secure, scalable automation workflows that solve complex business challenges.
- Integrate automations with databases, APIs, AI models and enterprise systems using advanced scripting and coding.
- Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business processes into effective automation solutions.
- Lead monitoring, optimisation and quality assurance to ensure reliability, compliance and performance.
- Share technical expertise through documentation, reusable components, and coaching of junior developers.
- Drive innovation by staying across emerging automation technologies and best practice frameworks.
About You
- UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer (Professional level) – essential.
- 5+ years’ experience designing and delivering automation solutions that drive process improvement.
- Skilled in UiPath, C# and/or Python, with experience integrating AI/ML models, APIs, and SQL.
- Proven ability to work in agile environments using JIRA, Confluence, and Scrum methodologies.
- Proactive, innovative problem-solver with strong stakeholder engagement and delivery focus.
