Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Techno Functional Lead to join our high-performing Oracle Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration across IT and business units. In this role you will work closely with team members, business teams, software consulting partners, shared services software and infrastructure teams, and managed services to enable and deploy software solutions. You will develop and deploy software code and solutions that comply with FDA computer systems validation methodology.
The Medical Segment IT Product team develops technology strategy and implements technology solutions that support the Medical Device segment’s Product Management, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Design/R&D teams. Cardinal Health has deployed Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management application platform to manage end-to-end PLM capabilities within Cardinal Health
Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform configuration changes in PLM solutions with PLM IT Service Delivery and implementation partners.
- Participate and provide functional leadership during PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) projects and future roadmap.
- Understand business, Lead elicitation sessions using variety of requirements gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, and business models with various functional business teams and IT teams.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions aligned with FDA computer systems validation (CSV) methodologies.
- Define technical requirements in accordance with SDLC, management and project/product scope. Ensure all requirements are aligned to project scope, objectives and strategies.
- Design and write J2EE/Java code around PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platforms including extending APIs, batch jobs, JMS queues, and ERP integrations.
- Lead user acceptance activities by coordinating with functional teams, development teams, and project managers.
- Manage Functional, Technical documentation.
- Assist with development of our technology multi-year roadmap.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Proven experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platforms as a techno-functional expert preferred
- Strong understanding of FDA CSV requirements and methodologies preferred
- Gather Requirements, Design and write J2EE/Java code around PLM platforms preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple teams and priorities preferred
- Managing applications in AWS and GCP preferred

Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300
