About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate, Digital & Marketing Operations, Consumer Audio, APAC to join our dynamic team. This is a junior-level role that will play a crucial part in supporting our digital & marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing technology, data-driven decisions, and process efficiency. You will be an instrumental team member in the marketing team to drive marketing automation, manage digital growth, and handling all key marketing operations, including reporting, budget tracking, and financial processes.
You will report directly to the Digital & E-Commerce APAC, Specialist and dotted line to the Marketing Manager APAC. This is an independent contributor role managing all Harman Consumer Audio brands across APAC. You will also be working collaboratively with other function groups and distributor partners to align on all business objectives.
What You Will Do
Consumer Engagement:
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
- Assist in building and testing automated campaigns, workflows, and customer journeys to drive engagement and retention
- Support CRM and marketing automation related scope (D2C, Marketplace loyalty programs, related o2o marketing opportunities)
- Craft and develop automated marketing campaigns that drive 360 communication touch points, including email, social media and all other relevant communications channels
- Design and execute A/B tests to derive learnings, optimise campaign performance and improve key metrics
- Maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs). Regularly analyze data to provide insights on campaign effectiveness, owned channels performance, and customer behavior.
- Support in building consumer segmentation analysis with mini programs, lead nurturing and building lists
- Document marketing automation processes and workflows, data quality and integrity of marketing automation and customer data
- Familiar with other forms of communication channels such as push messaging, SMS, WhatsApp and others to support in building a unified consumer engagement experience
Marketing Operations:
- Manage the end-to-end marketing budget process, including tracking expenditures, processing invoices, and reconciling with financial reports. Ensure all marketing-related financial processes are accurate and timely
- Provide ad-hoc admin support to the overall marketing team.
- Identify and propose improvements to existing marketing operations workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Generate global monthly PR and global marketing reports
- Share insights from regional and country-specific dashboards and reports with the broader marketing team during campaign preparations
What You Need to Be Successful
- 2 or more years of working experience in marketing automation, marketing operations or a similar role. You shoud have hands on experience in these initiatives
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms. You'll need to know how to implement, maintain, and optimize these systems to drive consumer engagement.
- Experience with building and testing automated campaigns, workflows, and customer journeys is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, paid media and A/B testing to optimize campaign performance and improve key metrics.
- Working knowledge of HTML, email design best practices (CSS a bonus)
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret data for decision making, project management and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive. This role requires careful management of marketing budgets, invoices, and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will be working with a variety of internal teams and external partners. The ability to share information clearly and effectively is key.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce/Digital analytics, Information Systems or a related field
- Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industry with APAC experience.
- Ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities.
- Passion for and genuine curiosity for innovation in the Digital / e-Commerce space and a passion to drive best in class customer experience
- Adaptable to ambiguity, changes and be at the forefront to lead change in both actions and behavior
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a culturally-diverse team environment, and understanding what it means to achieve success with others and through others
- Excellent communicator and able to perform well in a matrixed organization. Proven experience in managing and influencing a network of local senior managers and managers in a cross functional team.
