A little bit about our team:
The Content Acquisition team drives revenue success via establishing creative partnerships with the independent community and maximizing their growth within Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA). As part of the Warner Music Group, ADA is a worldwide distribution solution and marketing service organization that is deeply committed to the independent artist and label community. ADA gives independent artists, labels and creators access to a bespoke global distribution network and a dedicated, passionate team of experts that provide a panoramic suite of services that includes sales/marketing, digital marketing and fan acquisition solutions, radio promotion, music/synch licensing and much more.
Your Role:
As Associate Manager, Content Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day administrative responsibilities for Content Acquisition at ADA. The intention of this role is to help organize and streamline content acquisition workflow, creating efficiencies that will help expand ADA’s global footprint in the market. This will involve collaboration with several teams across ADA, including A&R, Synch, Legal, and Finance. You will report to the VP of A&R and Content Acquisition.
Here You’Ll Get To:
- Organize deal flow across active conversations, memorializing terms and tracking statuses
- Liaise between deal team, label management, and operations teams to coordinate onboarding for new clients
- Set pitch meetings with the wider team, distilling context internally and preparing decks as needed
- Research target partners and labels; gather and process data on the US independent music market
- Coordinate and lead all aspects of synchronized music assets across internal systems and platforms
- Create and manage synch marketing tools, email blasts, and newsletters
- Draft memoranda and summaries relating to new partnerships, amendments, renewals and terminations
- Handle DocuSign’s and filing of all new agreements
- Field questions around legal rights for current clients, working closely with the in-house legal team
- Maintain records and spreadsheets of finalized terms
About You:
- You are highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow up, & are able to work in a team environment
- You have excellent interpersonal skills
- You are able to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and deliver on deadlines
- You are experienced with Microsoft office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- You have the ability to track a large volume of deals, conversations, and partnerships, with the aim of achieving a mutually beneficial outcome for all
- You are a problem solver, with the ability to reach out the right people to work through roadblocks and accelerate timelines
We’d love it if you also had:
- Experience/ within the independent distribution space
- 2-4 previous years of experience in a contract administration or paralegal role

Salary Range$64,350 to $65,000 AnnuallySalary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs.
