The Opportunity

The Supplier Lifecycle Analyst is responsible for managing the entire supplier lifecycle, from initial registration and qualification to ongoing performance monitoring, ensuring access to high-performing, compliant suppliers. This role collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize supply base requirements, mitigate risk, and support agile business solutions while reporting to the Manager, Supplier Lifecycle.

What You'Ll Do

  • Partner with Supply Chain Teams to ensure optimal supply base sizing and deliver high-quality services for supplier registrations, qualifications and reassessments for new and existing suppliers, using department procedures
  • Review, coordinate and facilitate risk assessments by cross-functional groups, document decisions and present to leadership and stakeholders
  • Work closely with team members to develop strategies to right-size supply base and implement performance standards and processes
  • Recommend Supplier Lifecycle process improvements and corresponding solutions
  • Work with stakeholders to solve problems and recommend lasting solutions
  • Create and sustain reporting capabilities on supply base profiles to enable effective decision making for supply base strategies
  • Provide advice and training to stakeholders as appropriate to ensure Supplier Lifecycle tools and processes are accessible and understood by internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with subject matter experts engaged in qualifications (typically in the areas of Safety, Quality, Technical and Corporate Compliance)
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enable supply chain to access and realize value creation through optimum Supplier Lifecycle processes
  • Lead special projects as requested by management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Business related undergrad from a recognized university, equivalent experience may be considered
  • Four plus (4+) years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management or other field supporting projects or operations work with knowledge and experience working with suppliers
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry; midstream experience is a particular asset
  • Power BI and Excel
  • Business acumen in major technical disciplines (Construction, Engineering, Materials, Quality, Safety)  
  • Strong data management and organizational skills
