- Brief about the Team & Fractal:

Payroll Management:
- Oversee and process global payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments across multiple geographies.
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations including data collection, validation, processing, and disbursement.
- Handle expatriate payroll and foreign currency exchanges.
- Monitor and verify vacation, sick, and personal leave requests and balances.
- Manage garnishments, child support orders, and other wage deductions.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll, tax, and labor regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll policies and procedures in line with statutory and internal audit requirements.
- Assist in internal and external payroll audits and ensure audit trails are maintained.
- Stay updated on global payroll regulations and best practices.
Coordination & Reporting:
- Coordinate with Onboarding, HR, and Finance teams to gather and validate payroll inputs.
- Update general ledger and payroll files; ensure payroll transactions are accurately reflected in financial accounts.
- Prepare accounting files, records, and schedules for monthly and year-end closing.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with payroll data.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and metrics to upper management.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers.
- Implement and maintain global payroll operations systems and tools.
- Communicate with employees regarding payroll questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve processes.
Process Improvement & Special Projects:
- Facilitate continuous improvement of payroll processes through automation and standardization.
- Lead or support special projects such as system upgrades, policy rollouts, or compliance initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a global or multi-country environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with payroll audits and reconciliations is a plus.
- Education: Graduation in Commerce, Finance, or related field
- Certification: Payroll certification (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus
