The Retail Financial Analyst  will provide advanced financial analysis and strategic insights to support HP’s retail business. This role partners closely with Retail Sales, Category Management, Global Business Unit and Supply Chain teams to optimize profitability, manage programs/  products, and deliver actionable insights that drive business growth.

Financially  Responsibilities

Develops and maintains advanced financial models to evaluate retail programs, pricing strategies, and promotional investments, ensuring alignment with HP’s profitability goals.

Owns P&L analysis for retail RTM initiatives, identifying revenue drivers, cost structures, and margin optimization opportunities.

Conducts closed-loop post-analysis of retail strategies and programs, evaluating financial effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Provides ongoing forecasting activities for revenue, margin, and rebate programs to ensure accurate financial planning and sufficient product availability.

Manages, optimizes, and deploys partner funds, including rebates, pricing strategies, and promotional investments, ensuring ROI and compliance with financial policies.

Leads obsolescence and end-of-life financial planning, including inventory disposition, cost recovery, and margin impact analysis.

Supports sales efforts with financial insights, offering profitability analysis and strategic guidance for partner negotiations and end-user deals.

Provides financial leadership in cross-functional initiatives, influencing strategic decisions that shape HP’s retail RTM growth trajectory.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in retail or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of retail business models, pricing strategies, and channel programs.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HP Retail Program and Financial tools.
• Experience in rebate management and retail profitability analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.
