The Commercial Learning Services (CLS) team consults with business partners to provide effective learning solutions. We apply contemporary adult learning principles to develop skills and knowledge and drive behavior change to support the Marketing and Sales transformation journey.
The CLS Editor Intern is responsible for editing documents and partner with the business to own and manage the internal document approval process and related tools. This role is responsible for performing editorial and quality review of training materials across different deliverable types and ensuring our internal quality processes and standards are met. This role partners with different business units through our Strategic Business Partners to own and manage the approval process and related activities.
The CLS Editor will anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks, interface with Lilly partners at Indianapolis and Lilly Bengaluru and integrate new business processes where necessary. The CLS Editor ensures quality design, development, and delivery of training development projects. This role will interact with a wide variety of people both in Lilly Bengaluru and the US, at varying levels of the business.
The role will report to the CLS Manager at Lilly Bengaluru.
This Role Involves:
- Understanding Lilly’s culture, organizational structure, roles, and practices
- Comprehending the project/content and working as per the team’s standards of practice
- Assisting the senior editors/ mentors by ensuring that the projects go out with accurate content as per CLS standards
Functional Requirements:
- Accurate typing and editing skills, and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Able to multitask and prioritize work requirements.
- Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills and be able to deal effectively with others. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong skills in writing and grammar.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.
- Be able to perform tasks with high attention to detail.
