Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and retailer media focused Trade Marketeer covering the France-Iberia (FRIB) region based in our Paris, or Madrid office with a high level of both English and French to work on a fixed-term contract basis (end date 31st August 2026). This will be to lead and support the delivery of the omnichannel eCommerce and retail media strategy as well as the annual online activation calendar for omnichannel customers and pure players to drive the Trade Marketing agenda and delivery of innovative online solutions in-market.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the omnichannel, eCommerce, and retail media strategy whilst delivering on the yearly (online) activation calendar for relevant retail (in partnership with wider Business Unit colleagues).
  • Contribute to our Western Europe trade marketing strategy by adapting the regional activation plan and campaign toolkits to meet local marketing and customer needs, driving pilot initiatives and innovative technologies.
  • Harness your understanding of online and offline Retail Media ecosystems (both internal and external strategies) to ensure high quality campaign planning and execution.
  • Equip the Sales team with the tools they need to sell and implement campaigns in line with the plan.
  • Ensure strong campaign execution and a seamless brand experience across all distribution channels.
  • Support the development of Retail Media/eCommerce Trade Marketing expertise within the team and beyond.
  • Contribute to the review of performance of key campaigns to drive continuous improvement and implement findings from them.
  • Partner with Agencies/ Freelancers to develop tailored visibility assets that highlight the specific requirements of priority retail partners.
  • Drive innovation across different levers to boost brand visibility online, by staying ahead of trends and identifying new and effective tools.
  • Lead specific in-store visibility, shopper, and consumer activation campaigns, ensuring excellence in execution for the brand across distribution channels (including brick-and-mortar stores).

The Marketing Team brings one of the world’s most iconic brands and its products for consumers and shoppers to life. The team distills audience insights, take decisions rooted in data, and develop and implement effective marketing plans, with 360 campaigns including traditional and digital media, events, and instore execution, ensuring strong media presence. Trade Marketing has the responsibility to improve the shopper experience with the brand being at our core, which defines, develops and delivers the strategy of activation of our whole franchise’s portfolio into the distribution channels engagement.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Commercial results focused experience in a trade marketing role working into omnichannel/ pure player retail (B2B exposure is essential).
  • Significant exposure to a retail media and/ or other areas of digital marketing, ideally within a premium consumer goods brand, a digital agency, or an online retailer.
  • In-depth knowledge of the omnichannel retail landscape in France-Iberia and the strategic impact of all trade marketing activities.
  • Experience in planning and leading/ implementing multiple trade marketing campaigns (offline and online) for third party retailers.
  • Detailed analytical and budget responsibility experience is essential.
  • Proven record of success ideally in a high impact consumer goods company
  • A collaborative approach to working with a wide range of partners and agencies, a team focused individual.
  • Strong “shopper-centric” approach, with concrete and measurable examples of initiatives developed from shopper insights.
  • A genuinely curios approach to the eCommerce world and future trends, with the ability to identify the right emerging eCommerce opportunities.
  • An in-depth understanding of the conversion funnel, the digital retail landscape, and eCommerce and omnichannel dynamics.
  • English and French language skills to a high professional level are required  
  • Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
