Join us at LEGO Education, where your expertise in demand planning will help shape the future of play! As a Senior Demand Planning Manager, you’ll be at the helm of our global operations, ensuring every brick is in the right place at the right time! 

Please note: The internal title will be Senior Demand Planning Manager and the internal level will be Senior Manager.

Relocation: There is no relocation budget for this role.

Core Responsibilities

  • Short & Long-Term Planning for retiring, current, and future products.  
  • Consolidating perspectives and inputs to the demand plan from leadership partners.  
  • Manage deliverables and communication for day-to-day actions across global operations, coordinating with logistics, sales, order management and finance, at all management levels. 
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner to the VP of US Sales, contributing to leadership discussions and decision-making. 
  • Sharing business and supply chain insights in weekly US leadership meetings. 
  • Support the broader team with key core and ad hoc tasks, including updating of standard reports and preparation of slides etc. 
  • Managing weekly SKU level inventory coverage and communicating to sales.

Starting with the initial release of LEGO MINDSTORMS in 1998, LEGO Education has been at the forefront of building experiences that merge digital and physical play. Our growth in this aspect involves the creation of products like LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, LEGO Education SPIKE Essential, and most recently, LEGO Education Science. In operations, we ensure that we have the rights products in the right location on the right shelves by working with sales, finance and the global supply chain organization, ensuring the flow of accurate data and products.  

Do you have what it takes?  

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner (several years), demonstrating a strong understanding of forecasting and inventory management. 
  • Strong business acumen with understanding US omni-channel sales dynamics as well and finance  
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. 
  • Strong analytical thinker with a knack for identifying and solving problems through data-driven insights. 
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with a solid analytical approach.  
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft CRM is advantageous; candidates should be self-motivated to learn how to collect and manipulate vital data and understand a sales pipeline. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously 
  • Strong ability to manage tasks efficiently and prioritize as needed.  
  • The ability to work in a variety of time zones needs and plan accordingly.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
