Seeking PRN Physician to join our inpatient Rehabilitation team at Corewell Health South, providing services at our Watervliet location.Essential Functions
- Provide direct patient care, including: assessment, diagnostic evaluation, on-going treatment and clinical management, necessary referral for consultation, care planning, management of medications/therapeutic orders, transfer authorization, and determination of readiness and planning for discharge in accordance with rules, regulations, professional or ethical standards of practice prevailing in the community applicable to physician’s applicable practice specialty.
- Direct contact and consultation with patient, family members, friends, advocates, and other physicians and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication regarding patient status and plan of care.
- Accurate and timely completion of all clinical and professional records and documentation to assure compliance with organization policies and local, state and federal regulatory, licensure and accreditation requirements.
- Follow all policies, procedures and regulations set forth by Lakeland Health, Hospitalist Leadership, Medical Staff Bylaws, employment contract and the State of Michigan.
- Demonstrate commitment to the continuous improvement of the patient experience, including patient safety, quality of care, professionalism and excellent service.
- Required Doctorate
- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan required
