Why this role is important to us:
The Finance Business Partner ensures financial insight and transparency within the APAC market unit. This individual will also interpret business decisions into financial results and engage with the senior management teams of this unit using financial and business insights.
In addition to enhancing overall financial insight and transparency for the APAC market unit, the Finance Business Partner will support the global team with capacity modeling, follow-ups, reporting, and other relevant tasks for the professional services division.
The business partner will also take initiatives on reducing complexity, establishing effective financial processes, and further develop our key financial deliverables, including the budget, forecast and monthly management report. In this context, the Finance Business Partner will collaborate closely with the MU and global FP&A team to implement these initiatives.
The Finance Business Partner has direct and regular interaction with senior business stakeholders.
What you will be responsible for:
- Act as a senior financial analyst and trusted advisor to the senior management team
- Present the management report to the MU SMT with analysis and insight on variances to budget
- Support the sales organization in the shaping of deals and understanding the profitability of our offers to clients
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the monthly management report
- Ensure the financial forecast remains in line with the business outlook
- Ensure MU processes are in place to timely and effectively perform forecasting & budgeting
- Assist the global team with managing the professional services APAC division including:
- Ensuring a correct and updated view on capacity requirements
- Following up on professional services KPI and reporting elements for the unit
- Other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for the APAC professional services unit
- Perform value adding financial analysis to identify business opportunities
- Drive development of financial transparency as well as financial analysis and insights
- Drive and/or contribute to finance- and business initiatives and projects
- Drive and/or contribute to the development and optimization of financial- and business processes and the use of financial applications, including our new ERP system Workday
- Perform ad-hoc business partnering and controlling tasks
What We Value:
- Solid stakeholder management skills
- At least 5+ years of experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial business support
- A structured and analytical mindset with a self-starter attitude
- The capability to perform effectively both solo and within a team setting
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, bridging finance and business
- An impressive drive and the skill to effectively manage competing interests of various stakeholders in a changing global atmosphere
- An academic degree in management or finance
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Other Requirements
- Flexible between APAC and EMEA shift hours
- Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
