Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about and work on Automation and Performance engineering of various Clarivate products and services in the field of Intellectual Property Management Systems. We’d love to hear from you if you have any experience working with Java and UI tools like Playwright/Selenium, and are motivated to build your career in automation testing.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Approximately 1 year of experience in writing and executing software tests
• 6+ months of experience using any programming language (Java is strongly preferred)

It would be great if you also have . . .
 

• Experience using UI automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright
• Experience performing functional testing to validate software behavior against requirements
• Experience performing API testing
• Experience with API automation testing using tools such as Rest Assured or Postman
• Experience with troubleshooting software issues
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
• Ability to reproduce and communicate the reproduction steps of a defect through writing or on a video call 

What will you be doing in this role?
 

• Working with the QA team to identify the best way to test upcoming features
• Testing of code and features delivered by the development team
• Creation of automated tests to aid in testing
• Perform maintenance, upgrading, and updating existing tests

Product you will be developing 

As part of the Intellectual Property Management System (IPMS) group, you’ll contribute to a suite of products that help corporate IP teams and law firms manage their intellectual property portfolios — including patents, trademarks, and brand assets. This is a cross-functional role that will involve working across multiple products within the IPMS ecosystem.

About The Team:

You would be part of a large QA Group responsible for delivering world-class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP & Analytics. The existing team is spread across the globe and includes QA Engineers with strong technical and analytical skills. You will be reporting directly to our Manager, Quality Assurance Engineer, and/or Team Lead, Quality Assurance Engineer.

Hours Of Work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within the CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
