About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Content Analyst who is specialist in japanese language with deep expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) content. Our vertical is responsible for providing both financial and non-financial information to clients about companies worldwide. Climate data is at the core of our offering, integrating financial and extra-financial information essential for understanding the long-term performance and risk profile of major corporations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Data Collection:
- Research company documents and filings to collect Environmental, Governance, and TPI (Transition Pathway Initiative) data.
- Accurately identify and collect relevant data from company websites and reports.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review and approve the work of analysts/data providers.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure data meets high standards of accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure weekly target audits are met.
- Process Improvement:
- Suggest improvements for collection tools and internal processes.
- Recommend permanent fixes and ongoing actions to prevent client queries.
- Continuously find ways to improve quality and reduce service requests.
- Coaching & Collaboration:
- Coach analysts on data collection policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams and data providers to maintain high-quality data standards.
- Client Support:
- Resolve client queries promptly, ensuring high standards of response and customer satisfaction.
- Support index team queries and those raised by Grantham and other clients.
- Special Projects:
- Carry out specialized tasks and projects related to the SFI dataset as per strategic plans.
- Support DA checks and index revisions.

Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies
- Good communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Certified language specialist`
- Good awareness of ESG products, datasets, and ability to resolve client queries.
- Knowledge or experience in quality principles and concepts.
- Logical, investigative, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data.
- Excellent time management and flexibility to meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Flexibility to work 24/5 shifts.
- Should have intermediate knowledge on Excel
