Role Objective:

  • The Technical Documentation Specialist (TDS) will produce all necessary documentation
  • relating to the GlobalView Global projects or solutions to make the change, update or
  • deployment easy to understand, and the product functionality clear for either internal users or
  • clients as required.
  • The TDS is responsible for creating, writing and revising various types of user documentation,
  • including how-to guides, talk tracks, help documentation, manuals, FAQs, and any other content
  • that requires technical information to be distilled with ease and clarity.
  • What you’ll do:
  •  Work closely with the Project managers of the different projects and their project teams
  • in order to understand the documentation needs and functionalities that will be offered
  • with the new product/feature being deployed.
  •  Explain functional concepts and technical ideas in simple language. Ensure technical
  • verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.
  •  Review, edit and proofread materials written by others as applicable.
  •  Review end user documentation to assure it remains current. Provide updates and
  • different editions as necessary.
  •  Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples. Prepare charts, graphs, or
  • forms to go along with rough drafts.
  •  Write clear and concise policies and procedures.
  •  Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling.
  •  Puntually, explain processes to clients.
  • What you need, to do the job:
  •  2 – 3 years experience as a Technical writer or similar and experience within the client
  • service industry with resultant knowledge of organization behavior
  •  Ability to use computers and documentation management related softwares: Word, Excel,
  • Power Point, Confluence, etc.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Advanced level of spoken and written English, at a native level (additional languages
  • advantageous).
  •  Demonstrated ability to gather information and insights from individuals and groups
  • through the use of interviews.


TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST
 The ability to work under the pressure of time constraints, ambiguity and unexpected
changes.
 Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, highly methodical working
habits and exquisite attention to detail.
 Capable negotiator and mediator.
 Reliable, engaging, team worker, proactive and able to easily convey concise messages to
the audience.
 Comfortable working in an international environment.
 Flexible and adaptable approach to work responsibilities, times and locations.
 Payroll domain knowledge an advantage
 Ability to present and explain the process/information documented to small or big
audiences an advantage.


Education
 University degree or equivalent
 Payroll domain knowledge an advantage
