We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented leader to serve as Senior Vice President, Marketing, responsible for defining and delivering a marketing strategy that accelerates growth, strengthens brand equity, and drives measurable impact across the organization. This role operates at the intersection of market strategy, product positioning, demand generation, and partner ecosystem development, with direct influence on executive decision-making and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise B2B marketing, a proven ability to architect category-defining narratives, and a track record of scaling high-performing teams. This leader must combine analytical rigor with creative storytelling, ensuring Zayo is recognized as the partner of choice for digitally progressive enterprises, local to national governments, carriers and cloud providers alike, while confidently communicating strategy and outcomes across all levels—from individual contributors to C-level executives and the Board. 

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of twenty (20) years in progressive B2B marketing leadership roles, with significant executive-level experience in SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure technology. 
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing organizations across multiple disciplines (brand, demand gen, partner, product, comms, and ops). 
  • Proven track record of shaping category-defining narratives and achieving measurable growth in fast-changing markets. 
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets tied directly to revenue outcomes. 
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influencing skills—adept at engaging customers, partners, investors, media, and internal executives. 
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments while driving urgency, clarity, and alignment. 
  • Blend of creative vision and analytical rigor with the ability to translate ideas into actionable strategies

Location: This position will consider applicants that currently reside in the continental United States (remote work), but Denver, Colorado is preferred.

Estimated base pay range: $290,000 - $325,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
