Our B2B2C model connects grassroots clubs to national governing bodies through comprehensive sports administration technology.

The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced CFO for a 6-9 month maternity cover engagement to lead our finance function during a pivotal period of growth and strategic development. This role requires someone who builds, not just maintains - a leader who can strengthen financial operations while navigating complex strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop our existing finance team, ensuring robust financial operations and reporting
• Oversee financial governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
• Partner with department heads across engineering, product, sales, and QA on budgeting and resource allocation
• Navigate complex transaction environments and manage stakeholder relationships (investors, board, enterprise clients)
• Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and executive team on growth initiatives
• Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and financial partners
• Support enterprise sales cycles with sophisticated financial modeling for B2B contracts
• Oversee special projects requiring discretion and strategic financial expertise

You Bring:

• CA/CPA qualification with 5+ years senior finance experience
• Proven track record as CFO or senior finance leader in scaling technology companies
• Experience managing finance teams and driving operational excellence
• Deep expertise in complex transaction management and stakeholder negotiations
• Understanding of SaaS metrics, subscription models, and B2B enterprise contracts
• Experience with payment platforms and financial technology is highly regarded
• Ability to operate with complete discretion on confidential strategic matters
