Regional Director
This job is responsible for managing a team of approximately 17-20 Portfolio Managers and supporting Wealth Management. Partnering with the Managing Director on strategic management issues, this leader will develop the direction of their team and will be responsible for the team's tactical direction and results. This role will contribute to the success of overall client management by leading the partnership with Wealth Management and the Chief Investment Office (CIO) to ensure a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Guide a team to maintain energy and engagement as the business model continues to evolve
  • Develop and maintain communication and partnership with business partners, peers, and leadership across Wealth Management and the CIO.
  • Hire, coach, and motivate a team of Portfolio Managers to exceed client expectations through client interactions and management of client portfolios, while meeting compliance standards
  • Maintain accountability for regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
  • Meet financial and business targets outlined in the Private Asset Management scorecard to ensure achievement of a distinctive and consistent client experience.
  • Anticipate trends that impact relationships and retention and recommend corrective measures to better position the Portfolio Manager for delivery of optimal execution.
  • Drive efficiency and quality improvements in processes and systems to positively impact bottom-line and/or client service.
  • Assist Portfolio Managers in reviewing and planning client cases by relying on their investment acumen related to global and national economies and markets.
  • Understand and communicate regulatory impacts for projects, initiatives, and ongoing routines from both the OCC and FINRA perspective.
  • Take the lead on assigned projects, and work with a team to execute completion on time.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of client relationship experience, in portfolio management and financial planning for high-net-worth clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of client relationship experience, in portfolio management and financial planning for high-net-worth clients
  • 3+ years’ experience managing centralized and field-based teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance; MBA 
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Mid West/West territory

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2025-10-16Base Pay Range: $193,500/yr - $235,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
