Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing, will report to OneOncology’s Vice President, Supply Chain Management. As a leader within the department, this role will be critical to the success of the broader supply chain management program strategy. This role designs, builds, maintains, and continuously improves OO’s strategic sourcing program. Key duties include engaging practice and MSO leadership to develop sourcing priorities, drafting custom terms and conditions under the guidance of the Legal team, and negotiating best-in-industry vendor agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Strategic Sourcing function within the Supply Chain department.
  • Partner with Practice and MSO leadership to design and implement sourcing strategies.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with OO’s medical-surgical and specialty GPOs (non-pharmaceutical).
  • Draft and deploy best-in-class agreements in collaboration with the Legal team, aligned with sourcing and contracting policies.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements via formal RFPs, RFQs, and incumbent vendor renegotiations.
  • Oversee a local vendor agreement portfolio (thousands of documents).
  • Align sourcing priorities between practices and MSO leadership for both local and GPO agreements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to maximize practice participation in vendor agreements.
  • Manage administrative activities for GPO and local agreement documentation.
  • Serve as a strong negotiator for both pricing and terms/conditions.
  • Role may expand to include direct management of 1–3 team members as ROI and departmental growth justify.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business or Healthcare Administration preferred). Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • 7–10 years of progressive supply chain management experience, including ownership of a strategic sourcing or contracting program.
  • Strong preference for experience within a multi-site health system or MSO supporting healthcare providers.
  • Hybrid work model (primarily remote) with ability to commute to Owings Mills, MD (preferred) or Nashville, TN (secondary).

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to draft contracts and sourcing documents (RFP, RFQ, etc.) in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven success in achieving favorable pricing and terms.
  • Skilled at driving measurable improvement through stakeholder engagement, even without direct authority.
  • Strategic thinker with a balance of detail orientation and big-picture perspective.

Tech Requirements For The Job:

  • High-speed, reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted communication and access to necessary systems and tools.
  • Quiet and private work environment to maintain the confidentiality of patient information and minimize background noise during calls.
  • Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools, such as video conferencing software, instant messaging platforms, and customer relationship management systems.
  • Compliance with all security and privacy policies and protocols, including safeguarding patient information and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Travel:

  • This role does not require regular travel, but there will be an occasional need to be on-site at OO’s Nashville, TN; Owings Mills, MD; Rochell Park, NJ; or practice office sites.

Job Type: FullTime

Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually

Actual compensation offered to candidates is based on work experience, education, skill level, and geographic location. Compensation may vary depending on the state or region in which the position is located, in accordance with applicable laws.
