At Young Mindz, we’re committed to empowering Australians with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. As a nationwide NDIS provider, we deliver person-centred services including Supported Independent Living (SIL) and tailored disability support. Our approach is led by the heart and grounded in mindfulness, self-care, and community wellness.

We’re currently seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Casual Senior Support Workers to join our team in a female-only SIL home on the northern Gold Coast, supporting one participant. • 6am to 2pm
  • 2pm to 10pm
  • 10pm to 6am (inactive overnight)

We’re looking for team members who can commit to a minimum of 3–4 shifts per fortnight, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts during staff leave or increased support needs.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker, including SIL experience
  • Proven ability to support participants with high or complex needs
  • Skilled in managing challenging behaviours with a trauma-informed, person-centred approach
  • Strong communication, emotional resilience, and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life

  • Organised and proactive
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfortable using technology
  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to participant wellbeing
