Lead Compliance Manager

About The Opportunity

Adaptive Construction Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Lead Compliance Manager to direct all aspects of prevailing wage and IRA compliance operations. This role provides leadership to a team of three compliance professionals and serves as the primary liaison for client engagements. You will manage projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate, compliant, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three compliance professionals specializing in compliance administration.
  • Provide guidance to field specialists on identifying violations and executing effective site visits.
  • Design and facilitate compliance training programs for both internal staff and client stakeholders.
  • Monitor workload distribution to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Develop tools and resources that enhance client compliance performance.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client compliance matters.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and recurring client updates to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Present compliance findings, recommendations, and corrective actions in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Compliance Oversight & Reporting
  • Oversee compliance reporting throughout the project lifecycle—from contract execution to close-out.
  • Review participation forms, issue triggering activity notices within 15 days, and ensure all documentation is current.
  • Prepare quarterly compliance summaries and final close-out reports detailing corrective actions and outcomes.
  • Investigate and resolve wage-related complaints in collaboration with auditors and project leads.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
  • Review and approve corrective recommendations and supporting documentation from compliance specialists.
  • Partner with the Compliance Auditor on the calculation and distribution of correction payments.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Coordinator to maintain accurate project tracking systems (SharePoint).
  • Ensure organized, audit-ready documentation for all projects.
  • Escalate complex compliance issues to senior leadership as necessary.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in prevailing wage or labor compliance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act, state prevailing wage laws, and IRA compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving compliance violations and conducting site verification.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering effective training and presentations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and other project tracking systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Labor Relations, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a team.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
