The Field Service Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch technical support and insights within Nova’s cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing operations. What will you do as “Field Service Engineer”?
- Provide project handling and customer support, including modifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing, installing, customer training, and repairing NOVA systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between NOVA Japan and customers, overseeing system performance, data collection, reporting, and customer satisfaction.
- Quantify system performance using statistical techniques, ensuring system-to-system matching.
- Coordinate all service activities with customers to maximize system uptime.
Requirements
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience: 2+ years in testing and troubleshooting semiconductor wafer metrology systems preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of semiconductor tech; vacuum chamber experience a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and provide overseas support.
- Language: Proficient in English and Japanese (JLPT N1), both written and verbal.
