Payments Analyst

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Payments Analyst to join our team. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, the ability to acquire complex knowledge autonomously, and a strong focus on optimization and automation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated monitoring processes to track payment flows, anomalies, and performance KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance and cost of payment providers and recommend action plans to management
• Design, develop, and maintain Python scripts to automate monitoring and reporting processes
• Monitor daily payments activity and flag irregularities
• Investigate discrepancies and proactively communicate insights and resolutions
• Analyze trends and help predict potential issues or optimizations in payment operations
• Create financial models for data-oriented decision support
• Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver results independently

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics
• Proficient in Python with experience building automation and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with BI platforms (Tableau - advantage)
• Complex problem-solving ability, agility in a dynamic environment, and strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion
