Fabricator / Welder

Hidrive is looking for a qualified fabricator to join our Operations Team in Goulburn. You will be manufacturing trailers, following engineering drawings to deliver a high standard quality product. Hidrive Group is a 100% Australian owned company. We pride ourselves on innovation in design and manufacturing. We have clean, modern workshops with inhouse training and tools provided.

About You

The minimum requirement for this role is a trade qualification or two years’ experience in fabrication. We are looking for a team member with a keen eye for detail and someone who enjoys a varied role. The role will be collaborating with all the teams in Operations as well as the Engineering department. Time management is of essence and producing accurate, quality workmanship is a must.

Key Accountabilities

• Work as part of established fabrication team in a production line environment
• Steel and Aluminium MIG welding
• Drilling and assembly work, including panel fixing
• Reading detailed engineering drawings
• Ensure that the product is manufactured efficiently and of consistent quality
• Achieve improved business performance
