Summary Of Job Duties:
Develop and implement communications plans for internal and external audiences to support the Translational Research Institute (TRI), including, but not limited to, writing press releases and web stories, and overseeing video production, photography, flyers, social media and the website. Also responsible for writing and overseeing production of the TRI Annual Report.Develop and implement communication plan for internal and external special events: announcements, flyers, social media, web, etc. Develop and manage internal communication for staff associated with TRI: weekly newsletter, monthly newsletter and occasional targeted emails, flyers, posters, slides, etc.
Assist with developing and implementing marketing plans for TRI.
Serve as the liaison with the Office of Communications & Marketing for external communications and support the communications guidelines where the TRI is concerned.
Cover BioVentures and assist with other basic science research coverage for the Office of Communications & Marketing.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years' experience in project management, publications, photography/video, media & governmental relations, and communications.
