Responsible & accountable for leading a team to develop robust strategic launch and business development plans for Tissue Technologies franchise across EMEA. The role includes the development of financial, promotional, education programs in EMEA to ensure revenue growth and optimize the growth potential of existing and new product launches.
Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing:
- Design regional strategic marketing launch plans along with regional sales organizations, tailoring the plans for local dynamics in line with strategic positioning
- Aggregate regional market analysis and intelligence
- Develop & maintain strong insights & understanding of focus markets
- Define regional pricing with commercial leadership
- Create strategies to develop HEOR and market access in conjunction with market access
- Prioritize opportunities/ input into global research needs
- Develop region revenue plans with regional sales leadership
- Build evidence generation requirements strategy in collaboration with clinical affairs
Team Leadership:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement with formal and informal continuing ed
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to fellow non-direct reporting Product Managers and Marketing managers on portfolio planning, market segmentation, product positioning, and launch execution
Commercial Execution:
- Develop marketing tactics and related marketing collaterals for our sales force & support local marketing & sales management in their implementation
- Develop the appropriate marketing tools & programs to support the sales force to execute their revenue targets
- Support account managers in the field where appropriate
- Lead EMEA key customer input meetings
- Manage regional franchise opex budgets and resource allocation
- Establish revenue targets/ Franchise with KPIs.
Npi/Lifecycle Management:
- Serve as liaison between global and local teams
- Aggregate voice of customer market insights and input on NPIs and lifecycle management (primary & secondary market data)
- Provide oversight to NPIs and input to PD pipeline / Share with Local PD pipeline priorities
- Regional execution of NPIs launch & discontinuation plans
- Define regional reimbursement priorities
- Identify Regional market access needs: input to Global Franchise Team
Cross Functional Support
- Collaborate with sales training on marketing strategy
- Collaborate with Prof ed on marketing strategy and KOL management
- Identify markets for regulatory prioritization based on market opportunity and regulatory requirements
- Maintain working relationship with quality for continuous improvement as well as any field actions
Qualifications
- Actively demonstrated that they have built programs around technology crossover and or developed new markets or implemented surgical techniques
- Relevant educational background (MBA, Marketing, Economics, Engineering)
- Fluent English, both written and spoken (additional languages always an advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Medical Device industry in a sales or marketing function
- International experience – preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability skills enjoys International experience
- Ability to lead and execute complex multi-functional projects
