Overview of the roleWe are seeking a Business Analyst to bridge clients and technical teams, gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into functional specifications, and coordinate timely issue resolution. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from clients, provide feasible solutions, and set clear priorities.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical documentation for the Development and Database teams.
• Proactively engage with clients to resolve issues or bugs on a priority basis.
• Develop a thorough understanding of system capabilities and recommend optimal solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Advise clients on emerging IT trends and potential process improvements when required.
• Ensure proposed features and system enhancements meet user needs and business goals.
• Assist in creating and implementing test plans mapped to documented requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or BETA sessions with clients.
• Document requirements using tools such as Microsoft Visio or equivalent.
• Prepare training and system documentation; conduct user training sessions when necessary.
• Apply best practices in system testing, software quality assurance, and requirement validation.
• Demonstrate strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively under pressure while maintaining a customer-first approach.

Desired Skills / Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent (MSC/MCA preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an IT firm.
• Exposure to government projects or working within a government setup is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills with proficiency in tools like MS Visio.
• Experience in business and technical requirement analysis, modeling, and verification.
• Sound understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
