Job Summary:

The Head of Commercial Operations & Effectiveness for Heart Recovery in Asia Pacific will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of commercial activities across the region. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of impactful commercial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare/medical device industry, regional market dynamics, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams. The role will cover the entire APAC region including China & Japan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement regional commercial strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth for Heart Recovery products.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day commercial operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate standards.
  • Market & Customer Insights: Drive market intelligence initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs across Asia Pacific.
  • Sales & Business Development: Lead regional sales teams, set targets, monitor performance, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectiveness & Process Optimization: Enhance commercial processes, leverage digital tools, and implement best practices to improve productivity and outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Medical Affairs to ensure seamless execution of commercial plans.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities adhere to regional regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Manage regional budgets, track KPIs, and provide accurate forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial operations within the healthcare or medical device industry, with a focus on cardiology, heart recovery, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Strong understanding of regional regulatory landscapes and market access strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and data analytics for decision-making.
