Team Lead

Maintaining and exceeding daily production of Cyclops 1K & 2K Tools 

Oversee and verify that all quality policies/procedures are in place and being performed daily.

Always maintain a professional and respectful demeaner when conducting your duties as shop lead

Ensure a clean and safe work environment for all employees. Maintain good housekeeping practices, hand tools, equipment, and workstations

Lead by example, always hold yourself as well as all employees to the highest standards of quality and excellence

Be accountable and responsible for your team members, their attendance, training, safety, and production.

Perform daily JSA’s, weekly safety topics and all required HSE trainings to ensure a safe and effective workplace for everyone

Mentor and train new and existing employees to the high standards that Fortress expects of everyone

Track and manage employee trainings and production to ensure all employees are at their best each day

 Report all shop needs, concerns, issues, and positive feedback to management

Work directly with and on a continued basis with the op's supervisor on scheduling, days off, and other employee issues to maintain a required level of coverage for each day of work

Work with the ops supervisor to recruit, train and mentor new talent. Keep the team fresh and functioning at the highest levels possible

Be a good steward of Fortress Downhole tools, its employees, facilities, and equipment

Daily Job Duties

• Inventory (O-Rings, Set Screws, Gloves, Hand Tools)
• Daily Forklift and Facility Inspection 
• Team Lead coming on from days off will perform morning inspections for that week
• If any issues, coordinate with ops supervisor
• Ops Supervisor get with Facility Manager
• JSA 
• Ensure everyone has proper PPE before starting work
• Work with ops supervisor to coordinate personnel
• Checking in Racks (Quality)
• Check tools for needed inspections (New list every month)
• Team Lead coming on from days off will perform morning inspections for that week
• If any issues, coordinate with ops supervisor
• Ops Supervisor get with Facility Manager
• Ops Supervisor get with Facility Manager
• Ensure everyone has proper PPE before starting work
• Work with ops supervisor to coordinate personnel

ORing Racks

• Fill in where needed
• Loading Boxes 
• Ensure all jobs are completed and boxes are accurate before days end
• Ensure all stations are picked up/clean and ready for tomorrows operations.
• Time management
• Ensuring crews are productive while clocked in
• Not having crew members clocked in when they are not supposed to be and managing hours of the shop that are beneficial to production as well as the bottom line
• Ensure all jobs are completed and boxes are accurate before days end
