Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Stores and Procurement personal to assist with inventory management, procurement processes, and vendor coordination. The intern will support the team in managing the flow of goods, ensuring accurate records, and optimizing procurement activities. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain management and procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- 1. Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping in inventory management systems.
- 2. Support in conducting regular stock audits and preparing inventory reports.
- 3. Help ensure the timely receipt and dispatch of goods while maintaining organized and labeled stock areas.
- 1. Assist with the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment as per company requirements.
- 2. Help prepare purchase orders, obtain quotations, and track order status to ensure timely deliveries.
- 3. Coordinate with vendors for product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- 1. Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- 2. Help in evaluating vendor performance and recommending improvements where needed.
- 3. Support negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions under the guidance of the procurement team.
- 1. Assist in maintaining up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.

Requirements:
1 year of experience in managing Stores and Inventory.
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is highly desirable.
Basic understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
