Are you seeking to manage impactful IT projects that support cloud infrastructure and critical services for the children of Texas? Join the Engineering and Operations team within the Child Support IT Division at the Texas Office of the Attorney General as an IT Project Manager. In this senior-level role, you will lead complex, high-impact infrastructure initiatives – such as cloud migrations, architecture upgrades, and security enhancements – while coordinating across technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
At the OAG, we're not just looking for another project manager—we’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll bring structure to complex initiatives, foster communication across teams, and help drive continuous improvement. Here, you won’t just manage projects; you’ll contribute to a mission-driven organization with real impact, while growing your own career through mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Your responsibilities:
• Lead High-Impact Infrastructure Projects – Manage full project lifecycles for complex initiatives like cloud migrations, architecture upgrades, and security enhancements, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and regulatory standards.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration – Serve as the point of coordination between IT operations, technical teams, and program stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, efficient problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Champion Risk and Change Management – Proactively identify and mitigate risks, lead change management efforts, and deliver actionable insights through metrics and reporting that keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
The OAG is committed to providing innovative, modern, and value-driven IT services to the agency. We believe that having talented people in the right place while effectively utilizing new tools and technologies enables us to empower the agency to best serve the people of Texas.
